The Christian Studies Center wants to help every student mature in their faith.

Spiritual formation doesn't just happen behind a desk. We're not angels. We're not animals. We're hybrid creatures. Our bodies and souls linked. There are tons of ways to grow after class ends.

You don't have to go to any of this, but we think they're some pretty cool ways to exercise your mind outside of the classroom.

Hear from some of the most influential thinkers in the world today. Famous authors, preachers, and apologists are coming to the CSC on Tuesday nights (over the internet) to talk with you. Ask them questions. Wrestle with their viewpoints. Challenge your faith.

Some of our renowned speakers include:

Campus Ministries

Get plugged into a Christian community of people your age. Parties with thousands of college students. Interactive worship services. Transformative Bible studies. World Record Water Balloon Fights (seriously). And that's just the first week.

Here are a few of the local campus ministries at the University of Kentucky:

Discussion Points

These are places, both formal and informal, designed to foster healthy and helpful conversations. It's a chance to engage other perspectives and sort through what God may be teaching you with professors, mentors, and friends.

When four or five of us after a hard day have come and spread our feet toward the fire with our drinks at our elbows; when the whole world, and something beyond the world opens itself to our minds as we talk; Life- natural life- has no better gift to give." -C. S. Lewis

CSC Mentors are older people who might not have gray hair but may have some wisdom. They're recent college grads who work in Christian organizations in Lexington. They can help you to think clearly about what you're learning but they won't write your papers (for free).

Acclaimed rock climbing sites. Hundreds of miles of hiking trails. World's largest cave system. Kentucky is a great place to work out your body as well as your mind.

The CSC partners with local churches to reach beyond campus. There are tons of opportunities to serve in the evening and on weekends.

The Christian mind is the prerequisite of Christian thinking. And Christian thinking is the prerequisite of Christian action." -Harry Blamires

So let your thinking become action.
