All classes at the Christian Studies Center are three credit hours. Credits earned from the CSC can be used to fulfill major/minor or general educational requirements.

Faith and Film (PHL 393)
Schedule: Mondays, 9pm-midnight
Instructor: Dr. Philip Tallon
Meaning of life? Morality? God? Explore some of life's big questions as presented on the big screen. Learn to enjoy movies not just as entertainment but as vehicles for communicating powerful ideas.

Summer 2011

Standard Courses
Philosophy of C. S. Lewis (PHL 251)
: May 16-27, 10am - 1pm
: Dr. Philip Tallon
Philosophy of C. S. Lewis is a 2 week long, 3 credit hour course exploring the life and works of C. S. Lewis. The course takes place in Lexington, KY and is open to students from around the country.

C. S. Lewis Experience Travel Course (PHL 251 or ENG 423)
We are offering a travel course open to students from around country in July 2011.  Earn 3 credit hours in just 9 days while touring Oxford and London. Students will have the opportunity to explore the life of C. S. Lewis, one of the most influential Christian thinkers, apologists, storytellers, and theologians of the 20th century while visiting the sites where he lived and worked. Students will be able to customize the course to their degree plans, earning English or Philosophy credit during their time in England.
